The Montessori Method
"Early childhood education is the key to the betterment of society" - Maria Montessori
The Montessori Method
Montessori education was developed by Dr. Maria Montessori at the turn of the 20th century. Through her scientific studies in human development, Dr. Montessori found that the environment we place our children in is of utmost importance to the development of a child's talents and abilities, higher thinking, and communication skills.
At Royal City Montessori Academy, we have seen the Montessori approach to education succeed time and time again. We offer an open learning environment that facilitates the cognitive development of children ages 2 to 8 by encouraging them to interact freely with the materials we provide.
All of our programs are customized to meet the personal needs of the child and cater to their individual needs. We focus on each child, recognizing their interests and strengths and developing them as a whole.
Our activities cover a wide range of subjects, from language and math to arts and sciences. In traditional learning, the student is trained to repeat back the information that the teacher provides, leading to ineffective retention of information and a negative outlook on learning that lasts into adulthood. By contrast, Royal City Montessori provides an active learning environment where children are guided to develop their own path to learning in group and individual exercises. We take care to provide customized learning programs to meet the individual needs of children based on their age and speed of development.

We are passionate about what we do, and we have an amazing team of Montessori Trained teachers and an early childhood educator who love to work with children.
