Our Programs

Our school is fully accredited by the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators. We are the only accredited Montessori in Guelph to offer classes for children from 2 to 8 years.

With a focus on each child as an individual, children learn about all areas of the Montessori program including: Practical Life, Sensorial, Arithmetic, Language and Culture.

Music, art and French classes are woven into the school’s week. Along side these regular activities, we also bring in special learning opportunities. Our classes have watched eggs hatched, helped in the community food garden, participated in the Terry Fox walk, collected donations for the food bank and clothing cupboard, and enjoyed the park, playing fields and playground next to the school.

Our school follows and exceeds the Ontario provincial curriculum standards.

Royal City Montessori Academy is a not for profit Montessori school. 

 

We educate children from the ages of 2 to 8 years  in our Casa and Elementary programs, using the Montessori philosophy and principals of education.
